Graduate Poses Photography

There are many different types of Portraits. One of the most common portraits to take are graduation photos. When taking different photos it is important to have the right lighting and to be able to pose your models. This post shows a mixture of different types of lighting. I used Strobe Lighting for the first 2 photos. I had an F/stop of F/4.5, shutter speed of 1/320, and the ISO 100. Also just using natural lighting is a good option. One thing I really like about using strobes being able to have a good exposure of both the background and the foreground. In all of these photos one of the biggest things to keep in mind is poses. It is key to find the model’s personality and then to be able to show it in a photo. Working with different poses and making the model comfortable is all part of the job. As you direct where they are looking, what they are doing with their hands, and the type of smile are all things you need to help direct.

Here is an awesome website that helps with poses when working with models.
